i always forget how 'big' the wonder years are. everything they do sells out so much faster than i expect

 

its interesting to me that Dan has put out some smaller releases for the Aaron West project. I love it. I love the idea of getting small chapters of Aarons life in songs. idk if this song is part of a bigger release and im just not seeing it but either way this is great stuff.

the rendition of don’t let me cave in is amazing but this show suffers from the really bad middle stretch, it’s like six songs in a row I wish didn’t happen

Anyone have a video or audio rip of the acoustic show?

 

The audio quality on it was really bad imo. I couldn’t really listen to it due how often it would screech whenever Soupy or the band got loud.

For the Suburbia release show, I believe it was Hopeless that livestreamed it online

Livestream.com for what it used to be is dead, and the stream no longer exists online. I know it's been off the internet for quite a while now, but I was curious if there is anybody you might know that has that video anywhere? It was my first Wonder Years show and a pretty special night for me. I'd love to watch that set again at some point.

I don't know of anything. I remember a rip floating around back when it happened, but that was a minute ago.

 

That Suburbia show might be my favorite Wonder Years show I've been to. Such a great night.

Besides the anniversary weekend and my first time seeing TWY, The Suburbia release show was probably my favorite

 

Get Stoked On It! came out a decade ago today.

 

The more I listen to Burst & Decay the more I want songs in that vein. I’ve grew to enjoy the less shouting side of vocalists, and Dan can kill it without his heavy shouting vocals.

I’m still pretty excited for possibilities of the lyrical subject matter on their next album.
