Haha, that’s perfect. I mean these National Whatever Days are so arbitrary but how serendipitous that I decide to go here today of all days.

 

That ending is still haunting me. Think I'm gonna rewatch the entire series soon. Can't wait for The Final Dossier!

Yup, show reclaimed title as best thing to happen to television in years. I'm always thinking about that ending.

 

I think about “what year is this?” all the time. Also, I reallly want that poster for episode 8 or 18 but I should not be spending money

in 10 years from now, will you remember that midterm you took? Probably not. But will you remember the TP Halloween pop up shop? Most definitely

I’ve purchased one before at this random store in SF a few years back. Pretty sure they’re available online or something

 

I was watching an episode of Star Trek TNG the other day and both The Giant and Dougie Milford appeared in the same episode haha. Apparently a ton of Twin Peaks actors have appeared in both TNG and DS9, and Miguel Ferrer had a small role in Search for Spock. Pretty cool.

 

When I was first watching Twin Peaks one thing I kept noticing was how many actors were in it that I recognized from Seinfeld.

 

These are super cheap all over the web, I’m on my second one right now lol

 

“I am the FBI” remains in my head as one of the most satisfying moments in television I’ve ever experienced. That 1-2 punch of episodes 16 and 17 was perfect, giving us just right amount of nostalgia and at the perfect moment. Then, in classic Lynch fashion, subverting our expectations with episode 18. It was a lot of fun, albeit sometimes painful, watching this week to week.

I have nothing substantial or important to add, lol. But yeah, that moment was so perfectly executed and timed. The Dougie stuff never got old for me, as much as I did miss having "our" Coop around.

 

By the end I genuinely loved Dougie. It was honestly bittersweet seeing him go. It’s amazing how funny he was considering how little he did

 

Haha, right? Though I guess you could say the fact that he did so little is part of why he was so funny. I still laugh anytime I think about that scene where he's just eating cake and completely disinterested in Janey getting flirty with him haha.

 

I’m so glad Naomi Watts was included this season. Janey ended up becoming one of my favorite characters.

 

I scrolled all the way down just to comment and not look at posts. my roommate and I really want to continue this season, I think we left off at like episode six? i love the original, the return has been good, but different and an adjustment. what's the overall verdict of the return? worth it?

 

Absolutely worth it, not in the way I expected.
