B I talked at length about my love of Deja before this turned into another boring chat thread. Don't need to go into it again

 

I could get more controversial and tell everyone this is my 4th favorite release from them but that might be too much

 

Liking this despite you calling this chat thread "boring"

 

Nothing new but still a great setlist

Anyone hear anything about the stage set up? I assume it's the same as it's been (and I hope it is). Absolutely beside myself that I will be seeing this band tomorrow.

 

I will never understand the lack of love for "You Stole"

 

And I'll never understand this forum's irrational dislike of Deja after it was a modern classic for 10 years

Deja is great, then and now. It’s probably about even with SF for me if I were ranking their discography. Which I’m not.

 

IMHO Deja still holds up so well

Mine too! I haven't heard it. I didn't realize they were coming out with new stuff, their last record was great!

Deja is my 4th favorite album of theirs and that isn't an insult at all. I love that album a lot, the fact that I think they have 3 albums better than it cements them as a top 10 favorite band of mine

 

I don’t know if it’s anything more than a one-off single, but it’s definitely Radiohead-esque, so I think you’d like it!

In all fairness, they could've stopped after the demos and I'd consider them one of my favorite bands. I think yall underestimate how much shit YFW/Deja/Demos got me through

I wonder how many people are going to one of these shows just for Nada Surf.

Also, I hope if they do a final run next year it’s with Kevin Devine, Manchester Orchestra, and/or Thrice.

 

Considering it sold out before the openers were announced probably none
