and i'm almost positive that he said trees wasn't the actual name because that was a stupid name for a song but i can't find a video of that. and then manchester named a song trees

Marty Casey is my favorite Trees titled song.

So I know this kinda thing is frowned upon a bit but TDAG is the reason I picked up guitar and my band is rolling out our first LP which was a massive effort, so if anyone is keen to give it a listen, here's a soundcloud link!-

I would also be happy with any feedback

This is the only ranking I’ll ever agree on. The demos I don’t really listen to. I don’t have the same attachment, as I was 11/12 when they initially leaked. I hadn’t heard of BN til TDAG, so everything prior felt like an enormous step backwards to me back then.

That’s not to say I don’t enjoy the demos, I just deem them something of an outlier and rarely play them. Also, I vastly prefer the original Nobody Moves to the reworking. Jesse’s voice really bothers me in that. He almost sounds like he’s aged ten years or something, or that he’s attempting to sound like somebody else. And some of my favourite parts of the original version are almost missing entirely in the mix.

Nowadays I only really listen to TDAG, Daisy and SF. I’m happy not acknowledging the first two albums, other than Mixtape, Soco, Okay I Believe You, Me Vs Maradona and Play Crack The Sky.

P.S. - I enjoy Mene and Out of Range more than the first two albums, for the most part. There, I said it.

Mene is one of the best brand new songs so there's nothing wrong with that

I remember the first time I heard gasoline, I listened to the lyrics and thought wait is this dude serious right now? And that basically sums up the Daisy experience for me. Good live song though.

I think out of range is one of their absolute best but mene doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve listened to the demos lately more than deja but I think that’s mostly because I hadn’t really listened to them at all until their official release. I think deja holds up well thanks to how unique it is but yea the jump to TDAG is huge.

Mene and 1996 are some of the best songs.

    Hot Take.

1996's first verse sounds like something sung at the beginning of a Disney movie to introduce you to the story

I actually love the demos and would put them above Deja in my ranking. I rarely listen to deja or YFW anymore, listen to all the others more than those albums.

also love NObody moves, both versions are great and it's one of my top 5 brand new songs.

Was hanging with Vinnie's cousin last night and she busted out a shirt from 2002 that I'd never even seen before. #geekery

Tan/beige color. Had a photo of a child on a bike repeated on it in shades of green along with "brand new" all over it.

Saw these guys tonight. They sounded great and they had some of the best visuals I’ve seen at a show. Up there with Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Roger Waters.
