I just use KODI used to use XBMC on my fireTv.

it's alright, I haven't spent much time with making it nice since when I download something I usually watch it quickly and delete it.

 

Still the best episode of that show ever.

Yeah, I have a little headless Mac Mini sitting in the closet that I use as a media server. It has huge external drive attached to it and I just let it do all the work. Once I got the automation stuff set up, it's pretty low maintenance. I have it send me a push notification on my phone when it has something new for me, and then I struggle to find the time to watch it for months on end.

 

Adventures in babysitting was great too

 

I used to find it very funny to say "IN A VOLVO" to my parents all the time because they had a Volvo.

 

The guy at the coffee shop near me looks like he's straight out of the 20's or something.

My jeans and t-shirt look is very un-cool.

 

My mom just said we might move to Portland soon. I probably won't make the move with her, though

I occasionally go there on business. As someone who comes from a town that gets 2 inches a year, it drives me crazy dealing with that much rain. Incredibly fun city though.

sounds great, I have a desktop (windows) that I use as a media server connected to my firetv and a fire stick with Kodi loaded on them. would like to automate it along with the site of my choice to download shows when they're available but haven't had the time. some of us have real jobs, jason.

but seriously I'd love to see what you did there, sounds cool.

I haven't delved too far into automating stuff yet, just some different questionably legal stuff like my automatic free chick fil a sandwiches but I just do that over imacros since it's so easy to do.

 

The main post I made about it is in the supporter thread, I'll PM you what I wrote in a bit, my non-real job needs me to do a few things first!

yeah, I don't like to support the company, but I can get samiches for days.

I also don't like to spend any money since I don't make enough for my current situation, I'm paid a little low for the area/job but I'm not very good at said job. wife stayed home for 4 years with kids but now just started going to school, getting loans for that is going to kill us, but what's killing us now is the $1400 we spend on childcare for 3 days a week which somehow if "low" for this area, ridiculous. anyway I'm cheap. let me know if you want a free sandwich in exchange for "supporter" status

 

It’s probably more of a family drama, but I think it’s one of the most underrated shows from that time. It seems like a lot of shows are basically forgotten if they’re not on Netflix.

 

im sitting here with my grandpa. we start talking hockey. i tell him im going to miss the game tomorrow night because im going to a concert. he asks me what concert. i tell him Japandroids and ask him if he likes them. he says back to me "ha. i wouldnt know Japandroid from Chinadroid"
