k so i promise this is my last post on this album, but its out for those who care.

I know this wont be for everyone, but for me its everything right now. These lyrics on paper are so over-the-top/cheesy/try hard, but somehow they are performed with such sincerity that it just works. Can't sing its praises anymore lol

 

okay, this is a really fun listen. it's all over the place in the best way. not something that I would normally listen to but I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would based off the snippets I checked out earlier.

 

i am in a desperate need of my own thread for this style of music, but anyways....

cymbals album drops in two days, so stoked.

these guys started out as a shitty pavement cover band, and have now transformed into something so much better.

only read the slideshow one but their choice in bands is so cool. also really glad they placed art school jocks on the spotify playlist. Deborah's old band, Places to Hide, changed my life

was it for the first album? that was the one that changed my life. i was super bummed out when they broke up, they were so good at what they did. the way they were honest without being overtly confessional/ashamed of their honesty was really something to behold.

 

don't know which album of theirs, but "ecotone" was the song

 

Almost Nothing, their first LP. The first time I saw them they put on a great show even though people chatted through their set a bit and Kyle looked sad by the merch table so I bought the CD to cheer him up and it was game overrrr. Cool that you did that for them, hope it got them some buzz before the end
