I love it because it's a very familiar thing when you have social anxiety, planning things is taking a shot in the dark because you like never know if you're gonna feel okay to be around a lot of people in a week or two weeks or whatever (this phenomenon has made going to shows a lot harder for me as far as not wanting to miss out on tickets/actually feeling like following through the night of lol)

 

I feel this. Believe it or not, going to shows alone has helped with my anxiety about it. I don't talk to anyone and most people don't expect me to talk to them so it's like almost the same as being alone (if my anxiety is mild, ofc). But yeah, I've lived versions of this too

 

I feel this so much. Most of my friends are really social people, and want to do stuff like anytime I’m not working. But I am so inconsistent due to my mental health that I am always having to cancel last minute and shit. I’m seeing a friend today because I’ve ended up canceling stuff last minute for the past few weeks and feel bad. Haha

Listened to the first three songs on Apple Music last night and loved them so much I went ahead and bought the album this morning.

It’s so good.

When I was in the Bright Eyes thread earlier I thought about tagging you to check this out haha

 

It feels awesome to read such nice things, really.

That said, if for any reason any of you who were interested in this found yourselves let down and/or didn’t end up liking it like you thought you would that’s totally cool and valid and tbh I would like to hear from y’all as well. Even though I stand by what we’ve made with this, I think it’s healthy to get that kind of input too and take it into consideration for the future. I know it’s impossible to please everyone, but I think it’s possible to grow from it without sacrificing our own voice/vision. Idk. I don’t wanna be presumptuous but I just don’t want anyone to be afraid to be honest just bc you know I’m gonna see it haha.

Absolutely, yes haha. That song, Ask My Flashlight, and That MANN are all like equally my favorite songs ever.
