i'd rather play apples to apples than cards against humanity ever again. that game has the steepest slope of diminishing returns ever. but yeah fuck 'em both. this is a game like apples and cards that encourages debate/discussion and it has yet to get old and can be played with like 100 people

this is also one of the best games for a lot of people, involves moving around and a lot of social interaction. i can't cosign the vid cause i didn't watch it tho

I don't have IRL friends to play with so I haven't played in a while though.

Trying to play Apples to Apples with my dad's side of the family is insane because they take everything literally.

Now if we play stuff it's Ticket To Ride or Forbidden Island

 

Risk is great

 

Also various versions of Clue.

I've never played Risk, seems kinda crazy and complicated though

 

Man I wish I lived closer so I could board game with you.

I've had my eye on Mysterium for a while but not sure how it plays 2-player

 

not at all. basically you start with x amount of guys, you conquer other areas by each player rolling dice. if your number beats theirs, you take their territory. at the beginning of each turn you get x amount of guys for what territories you own. it's actually v simple and fun i recommend trying it

I like Trivial Pursuit

I like some other stuff too

Werewolves and Munchkin are fun card games to play with a group

 

a lot of people i know are pretty beat on munchkin but i still fucking lloovvee it

 

It's pretty great. It has the feel of a TCG, but it's been simplified for fair random group play.

 

Is Munchkin doable for 2 people?

 

Started yesterday. It’s fine. I can stay super busy at all times. I’m also really great at it. I just had to be huffy because I am still super disappointed I’m back in retail.
