Rashford should start over Welbeck. We need to start giving these young players as much international experience as possible.

FM17 update that no-one asked for! Currently 11 games into a PL season with Newcastle on the network game I mentioned a while back - currently rock-bottom of the table, 0 wins 3 draws 8 losses lmao. Best part; "the board is currently satisfied with your performance" :crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh: SACK ME FFS!!!

What's the process for getting rid of him? Sounds like his term is up in March, but that is already five wasted months.

Grant Wahl wants the position to be a paying position and apparently there's been some rule changes that have discouraged people from opposing Gulati, but that's can be hearsay from twitter. I don't think he's out any earlier than he is due to be or hell, he might even run again. Don't know what else it would take to get him out, but whatever can be done needs to be done, dude needs to be gone.

They're gonna announce someone in a week or two, don't know who could possibly be lined up, but Tab Ramos might be a good choice for an interim coach until we lock someone down.

A pipe dream, but Luis Enrique and Carlo Ancelotti need jobs.

I think our announcer just said this is the “bitterest rivalry in world football” like there’s literally not an socio-ideological civil war existing between two teams in spain for the last eighty plus years

The salt online at United setting up to not lose away from home, against their biggest rivals, with up to 5 starters/ direct replacements out injured, is fantastic.

Yeah, we didn't play particularly well. But Mou got what he wanted - at least a point. We couldn't string a pass together, but we got a point. At the end of the day, both teams pretty much only had one huge chance each. Matip scores, Liverpool win. However, Lukaku finishes his and we win.

These aren't the games that win us the title. Get a point here, and continue steamrolling the smaller teams and we're still on course.

    hmmm

I mean, you're free to play how you like but it was a pretty pathetic performance from United. Conceded big chances (the Matip one, the Salah followup that he should have left to Coutinho, the Can one) and had less attacking threat than far worse teams have had against Liverpool this season. If there were only two or three good teams in the league then such an approach might make sense but there's a top six now and if Mourinho approaches all of those games in a similar fashion then someone else (probably City) will inevitably get more points against the rest of the top six and leave United having to play catch up against the dross.
