He will when he runs out of money. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't done a half assed acoustic tour or something, he'd make more money doing that than trying to crowd fund

 

1. We've been reading this exact kind of talk from him for years with zero payoff of the claims.

2. If you had something or anything maybe you should disclose that to investors? Just an idea.

3. Now that he's taken on outside investment from a bunch of people, I wonder if these statements on social media could get him in trouble and possibly face a class action lawsuit. If he's making claims that the company can't back up (which their own disclosure makes pretty clear at this point in time), that sure seems to walk the line of fraud. (But, I'm not a lawyer.)

 

It's hard to feel bad for him and how much of a failure this is sure to be when he thinks he should make a 100k a year for something with virtually no product lol.

 

Needs that 100k so his next company can buy this one out and rent back equipment and office space in a few years.

 

So if (when) this completely falls through and doesn't end up getting funded, what's he going to do then?!

 

I'm surprised he still has that physical To The Stars store opened. I visited there a couple weeks ago and while I thought it was interesting since I'm a huge blink fan, the place seemed way too niche to actually turn a profit. There's no way they make enough in AvA t-shirt sales and vinyl to afford San Diego rent

You can get a pretty good idea of the last two years of a few of his companies by reading the investment document for the new one. Those companies weren't turning much of a profit IIRC. He gave the companies a few loans of between 1-300k, so he's gotta be bringing in a lot from Blink still. That's my guess: the deal was he keeps making a %, but he doesn't get to be in the band or record or play live or anything, and they can keep using the name.

This almost seems like some sort of parody, like something you'd see on tv. I can't believe he actually went this far down that rabbit hole in reality.

Yeah I figured he must be making a nice living just off of the blink name and having Mark, Matt and Travis make new music, tour, sell merchandise etc. I would really love to see/read what the actual agreement that Tom and Mark/Travis came up with as far as the terms, payouts etc. But do agree with you on your guess.
