I've been loving that part as well. Same when he says during the verse "The pictures in her head..." Those little parts where he strains himself give it a slight emotional boost that it wouldn't have had otherwise.

 

I'm so glad that we have all the album and tour info now. It feels like a big relief. I love the fact that the album is coming out in the summer, and from the sound of all these interviews I've read it sounds like it'll be a great summer album!

 

This is why I'm actually happy it isn't coming out until July 1st. Sure the wait is going to be difficult, but Blink are a band I relate with summer, and it just feels right coming out then.

 

I definitely agree. I've had to wait longer for other albums I've liked to come out, so 2 months shouldn't be that bad.

 

I am ok with this album coming out this summer too. It just feels right. Plus, there is a lot of good music out already and coming out before then.

 

Not sure if anyone else gets this way, but I LOVE when albums come out when I'm on a trip or vacation. Somehow a lot of my favorite albums have come out while I was vacationing, so I forever associate the memories/vibes with the music and it's awesome. This year I'll be on a beach trip with my family the week that the blink album drops.

 

All of this Blink excitement definitely gets me feeling nostalgic. I might have to watch American Pie 2 for the Blink song in the opening haha.

Listen to Dead End Girl and Heather by Heavens. Great songs.

 

Alkaline Trio. Anything and everything from their discography. But my favorite album of theirs is From Here To Infirmary. Check out "Stupid Kid."

 

From Here to Infirmary and Good Mourning! Also, check out Trio's most recent album My Shame is True, because I feel like Matt might contribute a bit of that sound to Blink.
