Fortnite Battle Royale is sooooooooooooooo much fun with friends.

Wish they would add some kind of leveling up, character customization, and maybe cosmetic unlocks to make some sort of fun progression though.

In muliptlayer games I liked to be rewarded with those things.

i'm pretty over fortnite already, tbh. the building mechanics are fun for a time but ultimately the crafting and the map size mask the pretty awful gunplay. if it's not a shotgun or a scoped weapon... good luck. the endless running around makes getting killed by the first or second person you see super aggravating. i would be much more interested in like, a 20 person BR game built around map sizes more akin to Halo/your typical arena shooter.

 

I think BR games aren't for me. I'm a very reckless, maximum damage, zero concern shooter player. I like fucking around with C4 on Battlfield hardcore servers. BR is counter intuitive for me lmao

thanks! yeah I tried out streaming from PS4 for the first time last night and it's surprisingly easy and works really well, it takes the game out of full screen and adds a chat overlay. definitely wanna do more PS4 streaming in the future.

 

I know you people only talk about video games that came out in the last month, but I played through Arkham Asylum for the first time and loved it. I saw it compared to Metroid, and while I have a lot of respect for the Metroid games I have played, I prefer Arkham Asylum's approach to it, mostly because I actually knew where to go. The bosses were repetitive and the Killer Croc part should have been half as long, but I was still very impressed.

 

We talk about old and new games. Every few weeks we talk about Tony Hawk/Skate for example lmao

 

The only game I'm playing right now is Metal Gear Solid 5 on XB1. Only played through the opening when it came out and put it down. I guess maybe bitter that David Hayter wasn't voicing snake. I had a strong itch to pick it back up the other day and have been chipping away at it since. There are things I should/could be doing in Destiny 2 but I have no desire right now to turn that on. Haven't in 3 weeks.

I'm not really feeling going through the game and doing everything. I'm just wanting to get through the main stuff and do a few side ops. Yesterday there was a sniper I needed to take out for my last target on a mission. I guess what was intended to be done was to sneak over behind him. Too much work. I found a mortar inplacement on a hill on the outside of the base, lined that thing up, and blasted the dude away. Ran right away after that.

No way! I bring up older stuff all the time. I rarely play games at launch tbh. I just picked up Assassin's Creed Syndicate last week and it is as awesome as everyone said it was.

If you like Asylum, definitely pick up Arkham City when you're done. I think it's the epitome of Batman gaming imho.
