Just got an email update from them today. Looks like their van was broken into at Riot Vest and they have been scrambling to restock their inventory. Didn’t get a confirm of when my order would ship, but at least that explains the delay.

 

Shit, well thats a huge bummer. But I hadn't gotten that email update or anything today so its good to at least know whats up now. Appreciate it, man!

Looks like my Circa vinyl will be shipping in the next few days.

Also got an update from Merchnow on that Circa delay. They're supposed to be getting them by tomorrow so I'm hoping its delivered to me some time early next week. Also doubting I'll get my Citizen record in time for release day

 

Suicide Squeeze had these up for $10. Had to grab one.

A local record store in my city is doing a cool vinyl subscription. 2 records a month for $35, free shipping. Their selection is a lot of bands/artists that are talked about on chorus. The store is Wax Bodega. The owners are really great people. Check them out

 

I've ordered from their webstore in the past, great distro shop.

 

Just preordered Sza's "CTRL". Had my eyes peeled for that one quite a while.

 

Smartpunk has not responded to my request for a shipping update. Paper and Plastick also had to refund me for never sending something I ordered a month ago.

Having great luck with record orders lately...

 

I ordered the limited edition 30STM self-titled from The Sound of Vinyl and had to reach out to them when I hadn't received a shipping confirmation a month later. They responded to tell me that my order is not shippable and there is no stock available. The item is still listed on their website as in stock. Very curious

 

Found a really weird New Found Glory 10" at the record store today. Came in a paper white sleeve with an image of the band on the corner and it just said "Certain".

Like lol I knew bootleg vinyl was a thing but I thought the objective was to bootleg actual albums, not hodgepodge mixtapes of what are probably a bunch of limewire downloads

Hahah nah I passed. It was like $35, that store normally has really great prices so idk how they came up with that, but since it's clearly bootlegged I was too worried about the sound quality being horrible to take a chance. If anyone else in here wants it I'd be happy to go back and see if it's there and ship it to whoever!

 

Marmozets finally have a new album coming out with vinyl pre orders up. Also, still waiting on my Pvris awkohawnoh smoke and I’m sad about it.

 

I am not sure if you saw my post, but I ordered the smoke as well. Except...what I got was the clear vinyl instead.
