@secretsociety92 How was the villiain? There have been a couple reviews where he was called the only weak link in the entire movie.

  2. I just watched The Man From U.N.C.L.E. And enjoyed it quite a bit.

He isn't your typical super powerful Marvel villain which I actually liked for a change and his motives are clear which you can sympathize with. So it depends really whether you are after a villain that offers spectacle or after someone a bit deeper than that. (Sorry forgot to quote you originally).

    Hush(Netflix)

This is the most tense movie i've ever seen, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Very good horror/thriller that I recommend to anybody who likes those types of movies. While the ending was something to be desired, the vast majority of the film was really really well done.

Like Mike is such a colossal bore. The basketball scenes are not even exciting and look very cheap. The Rugrats in Paris is more creative, but the constant repetition of Who Let the Dogs Out? is a disaster.

Green Room is a lot of fun. The motivations of the antagonists aren't well drawn out, and while there is great tension the payoffs aren't as gratifying as they could be. In this way I think it is a bit of a step back from Blue Ruin. Small criticisms though for an enjoyable experience, and still a very promising filmmaker.

11th grade. End-of-course tests are over and the seniors are gone so I need to keep them calm.

They all cried at parts of the Rugrats. I am showing Wild Wild West right now. I want to show the Super Mario Bros. movie and Batman and Robin next.

They voted to watch the original Barbershop but that is a little bit too dicey I assume (have not seen it). HBO Now does not have the best selection for kids and Netflix is blocked.

I approve of all of those selections. I guess that's telling for my age :tear:

I still enjoy Batman and Robin, and have never thought it was bad.

I'm sure this can be said by most for the types of movies I tend to like a lot!

True! I loved Swarzenegger as Freeze. It's really more of a weird movie than a terrible one

Batman and Robin is probably always going to be the closest thing to a good superhero film. It is certainly better than the things we have been inundated with for the last ten years.

I might show something a little bit deeper for my Speech class, but it is hard to find stuff without profanity or nudity.

Hoop Dreams is on there, theres a scene where Arthur raps in his room and it says "fuck" a few times but you could skip it. It's late in the film

Also, the first episode of Friday Night Lights is basically a short film that kills a class period

I am sure they have. I might show it anyway. I have another 10 days with them.

These kids might not have the tolerance for Hoop Dreams. Maybe I should throw something like Werckmeister Harmonies at them.

They voted for Jurassic World this period. This is going to be a long class.

I see no reason not to show Rashomon instead
