Probably most excited for Telltales Batman and Walking Dead Season 3

 

Did Horizon get pushed to 2017? I feel like it did.

 

I think it did.

 

I hope I'm not annoying with my DS1 updates, just nice to have people to talk to about it since literally none of my RL friends care about any games except League Of Legends lol

So I've made it to Anor Londo and I'm getting my shit pushed in by Ornstein and Smough. I finally figured out that the door across from their fog wall leads back outside so that I can make my way back to Sens Fortress and do some grinding, plus get some humanity so I can summon Solaire. From what I've read from the DS community, those two are one of the toughest boss fights in the game so I dont feel too bad about having to grind and come back later. Hoping to get my +15 claymore soon, although I might go lightning idk.

 

I cannot imagine being so excited for any Telltale game at this point, that engine is atrocious and I don't believe for a second that the supposed update to it with the Batman game is going to address any of the major issues with it.

Game of Thrones was a mess.

 

@DeviantRogue I'm playing through GoT right now. Are you saying it's a mess because of the engine? I actually switched to controller for dialogue because the mouse was so hard use.

 

I really enjoyed GoT TT.

 

Engine is a mess, story is only so-so.

 

Yeah, they're one of the harder bosses for sure. You're doing well though, it definitely took me longer to get where you are my first time playing.

 

Last resort just wiped an hour of progress :(

 

Anybody played the Wolf Among Us? It was free this month for Xbox. I just finished Episode 3 and I'm loving it. I haven't played a Tell Tale game since Walking Dead 2, so playing a story driven QTE game felt fresh again.

 

Vanquish is a great game that pretty much flew under the radar. The last achievement/trophy for completing all the challenges was EXTREMELY difficult.

 

GoT is by far one of the least liked Telltale games. TWD, TWAU and Borderlands are great. I have yet to play Jurassic Park or BTTF.

I really liked GoT, but yeah I'd agree it's probably my least favorite of the Telltale games I've played. That said, all of their games are among my favorites in recent years. I also wonder if all the complaints about the engine stem from playing on console... I've never had any issue with their games on PC. Can't wait for TWD S3.

 

twau is absolutely amazing. That and tales from the borderlands are my favorite TTG games. I know TWD is popular but it would be nice if they focused on TWAU. The way it ended, there's no way they can just drop it haha

 

Yeah both on 360 and One is awful, and there's threads on their own forum about this stuff. It's so weird that this has happened for practically years and they did nothing lol

Finally playing Bully.

 

its weird because for a minute there the bosses were getting easier haha. But right now I'm just grinding and getting some humanity so I can kindle the Anor Londo bonfires and summon a phantom to help me in the fight. Plus I've realized I need to level my Dex so that my Claymore can do even more damage since it scales from both Str and Dex.

 

Yeah, the bosses will get easier as you get better at the game. I found a lot of the bosses in the second half were easier for me than the ones in the first half.

 

yeah like Quelaag and The Iron Golem were cake. Sif wasnt too bad either.

 

Great game, just recently finished it.

 

I uninstalled my game to try and fix an issue I was having, then somehow my computer took it upon itself to fill in that extra disk space with nothing and now I can't install it again. Fuck this computer.

 

They are pretty rough on PC too, not so much with performance issues, but critical errors, compatibility problems, etc. (Couldn't get TWD to even run properly on my PC)
