Amazon has the bundle in stock for preorder, and they don't charge you up front if you wanna lock one down and try to get the funds in time. Getting one after Mario is likely going to be a gargantuan pain in the ass.

there is an achievement in gone home to speedrun the game and it's glitched on me and it is actually frustrating.

 

When it wasn't glitched, it was frustrating as well.

 

I got that out the way first thing and never got back to playing the game. I keep meaning to.

 

Anybody here really disappointed with the Battlefront 2 beta?
Classes are redundant when you come from the first game that essentially let you create your own soldier. Gunplay is heavy and clunky and not at all satisfying. The spaceships handle like an arsebadger. The whole respawing as a squad feature just delays respawning. Crouching is now a pain in the arse because you have to hold O instead of tapping it - useless when under fire. And that reloading mini game is so slow and dumbed down its absurd. Not huge on the points system for streak rewards either. Murgh.
I’m aware that was a right moan, but I’m so underwhelmed and disappointed. Adored the first. I’m like rank 89 in it. This feels like a step down to me. It’s literally like they took all the feedback from the first game and sat down at a table like ‘you know what our fans would love? Restrictions’.

Danganronpa 3 might be the most visually appealing game I've ever played.

It definitely can be. They've been working on implementing dedicated servers; it's run of individual hosts and if the host quits out because Jason kills him/her early the whole game ends. It's a small team working on the game, but they're constantly trying to fix the issues.

 

To anyone playing Cuphead: if you’re hands cramp as bad with this game as mine do, remapping the bumper controls to the triggers is a fucking life saver

 

Then does anything take the spot of the bumpers??

I want to buy it, but I think the kind of visual filter over the game will trigger migraines for me.

 

Nope! Oddly, the triggers aren’t used for anything. Using the face buttons with the bumpers so often gave me cramps and even 5 hours of Monster Hunter on 3DS doesn’t get me cramped.

That’s a good call with the filter. Just checked and it can’t be turned off, seems like an oversight.

God, how do you play that many shooters haha. I only find one or two shooters every couple of years that I’m really able to sink my teeth into.

Picked up the first Shadow of Mordor GOTY and Lego Force Awakens for $13

 

I guess my xbone was delivered today. Just checked the fedex tracking.

 

the rest of the month for me is:
- polishing off at least one of: ys 8, battle chasers, golf story
- trying to avoid buying other big $60 games, telling myself that they'll definitely be $30-40 or less in a couple months for the holidays
- playing way too much stardew valley and my daily few picross puzzles
- MARIO MARIO MARIO (i might just replay galaxy 2 again)

I get home like 6pm. Then I'm gonna be downloading HALO 5, and thats like 100GB. Not sure how long that'll take. Probably 2 hrs.

Then I'll DL MCC.
