why, why would someone make a game this addicting. left my Switch at home because I knew I wouldn't be able to control myself.

You should buy seeds on day one. Everytime planting season comes around, you should spend most of your money on seeds. That's how you make money in this game.

 

So Golf Story is amazing huh

 

Golf Story has some of my favorite use of HD Rumble on the switch. It uses it a TON, but the times where it replicates the tone of someone being bummed is so good.

 

I'm kind of annoyed the the challenges that use a lot of wind

 

I can't putt on anything that has a moderate slope, I wish the greens had the arrows on them or something. I can't seem to wrap my head around what direction I should lead sometimes.

 

I love this use so much, I never get tired of it. I want more HD Rumble in everything

 

I agree, Golf Story is really the only game so far that's made me appreciate the HD Rumble haha. Adds more to the experience than I would've guessed possible.

 

Can someone tell me where the surf board treasure is in golf story. I've been searching forever.

It doesn't make sense but it's in front of the big sign at the front. It doesn't really look like a surf board, but it has a red flag on it.

 

Was just at a retro game store and they’re selling Pokémon blue used with box for $90. I’m like “hey I have this..”

 

Anybody know of anything thats been said about the difficulty of Mario Odyssey? Everything so far looks pretty easy and I'm personally hoping for some bullshit like the purple coin challenges.

me and my roommate are trying to get through every game in the snes classic and we got through contra yesterday, christ that game was brutal, so rewarding killing that last boss though. dkc is next and i know i can breeze through that game.

 

Those are Wii levels, higher than during the the Pokemon Go boom.

 

Has anyone else noticed a crinkley/static-y noise on the left side of the system while playing Stardew Valley? It happens pretty consistently for me. I checked with other games in case it was the system, but it only seems to happen on SV. I’ve only checked on handheld mode btw

 

I have it too and its been pretty widely reported. It comes and goes in handheld mode. I also immediately checked other games and they were fine.

For now the advice is to restart the game, which doesn't always work, while they work on a fix.

Golf Story was really buggy too.

 

Stardew Valley is perpetually semi-broken on every platform, it's definitely the game and not your Switch lmao

 

Been playing a ton of Stardew valley and Golf Story this past week, both games are so good for just chilling out while playing them.

 

Trying real hard not to play Stardew like Harvest Moon where I used to try to be as efficient as possible. It's much more enjoyable to approach it like I would Animal Crossing.
