Can we go back to talking about how terrible Villa is and how disappointing it is that Guzan is still on the USMNT?

 

Guzan, like many US players, is better for country than club.

 

And what other options do the US have in goal? None of the guys playing MLS are really standing out at the moment.

 

Howard and Guzan will (likely) determine who is #1 in the friendlies leading up to the Copa, but I want Timmy. Hamid's injured, Rimando is getting older but I'd prefer him over the other options. Yarbrough down in Mexico may be a good option. He's at America, right?

I have mentioned before that I support my local team first and foremost and I also support Everton. Not really a gloryhunter as you see. And I started to support Bayern around 1992, that was a very different time and Bayern was nowhere as dominant as today. But no worries, I am used to these stereotypes...

 

You started supporting them 24 years ago... and they've won 14 of those 24 seasons and haven't gone more than three seasons without winning it in that time period. They've been dominant your entire fandom. And 24 years of support is no longer your "second team,"... they're your team just as much. Just accept your bias, we all have them.

Rimando proved tonight why he shouldn't be off the list and why he should be back in a battle with guzan for the top spot.

 

To be fair, the gap between worst and best isn't that wide. Houston has to find a way to play Cubo, Bruin and Barnes. That's a stacked attacking trio.

 

Houston are physical and play hard. They just couldn't create chances for their skilled forwards.

 

On the discussion of second teams, I'm so happy to see Atletico do so well. When I lived in Spain they were finishing 10th in La Liga and now ten years later, they're on the brink of a second CL final in 3 years.

 

Hoping my second team can win the English Premier League title today. Supported them all of the past 30 minutes, been a tough time but fingers crossed.
