So I'm a bottle of cab in and just smoked a little and "For Robin" is really getting me.

 

Holy shit y'all, how great is this album? I've listened to this so much this past weekend/week. Definitely in the top 3 of the year for me. "Fuzz Minor" is an early favorite, not just because of the subject, but the whole sound of the song is so good. It made me cry on first listen in the same way Brand New's "Desert" made me cry because of just how poignant and relevant it is.

Also it's hella cool to see @christeti in here giving some extra insight.

Still not sure if I'm going to the San Diego or LA show, but either way I can't wait to see these songs live.

 

One track doesnt negate the sentiment lol.

Thinkin back to the first time I saw TWIABP live when they played with Sirs (RIP), Algernon Cadwallader (RIP), and Joyce Manor in 2012. Hung out with my girlfriend for the first time that night and now we are celebrating our five year anniversary. This is sappy but at least I know she won't see it since she doesn't post in this thread :P

This album is fantastic, I actually really love how direct and concise it is. If this is the future of the band, I am here for it.

weird, another leg of tour seems to be announced soon. dc show popped up for 12/9, which sucks because that's the same day as the topshelf tour

Ah ok. Yeah they are on the last song now. I’m only a decent amount into this band so idk who’s singing ever haha. They have 6 people on stage right now.

It was a pretty fun show. They don’t really talk at all between songs.

 

Only six? They’re a seven piece now, was someone missing or what?

 

No clue. Don't know them well enough. They had the female singer/synth player, 2 guitars, singer, bass, and drummer.
