Nice! Cascade's are expensive so I only ever get them on draft or if someone wants to throw down on a bottle with me. But they're possibly my favorite sours that I can get with regularity.

Cascade is definitely too pricey for my blood for bottles, but every time I have been to Portland I spend a fair amount of time at the brewery haha

A 750 of Tilquin is cheaper than Cascade and better.

We don't get Tilquin up here so it's not better :)

Edit: Well, we get a very small amount. I had their Gueuze and it was pretty solid.

Jealous. I find that I'm super critical of sours because they're super trendy (which isn't bad) but sour breweries always have so much hype that my natural reaction is to push back on it.

So that Cantillon framboise was pretty incredible. It somehow got better and better the more I drank of it. It may be my favorite beer I've ever tasted. Everything about it was so incredibly balanced.

Cantillon is always outstanding. There's a reason they have the reputation they do.

As for the Cascade folks, read up on their process and that price gets to be more understandable (though yeah, totally understand being a once in a while thing). Their Cherry Bourbonic Plague is one the best beers I've ever had.

When I was in Denver, I went to a bar that had like 50 beers on tap. I tried a Paulaner hefeweizen (Germany) and a Duvel (Beligum). Both were delicious. The Paulaner made me feel like some Inglourious Basterds tension was brewing behind me.

Duvel is a beer I don't should buy more of.

I love everything Paulaner does. Drank a lot of it traveling Germany a few years ago. Their Helles is crazy drinkable.

Eh. They don't bother me and I don't think they're that bad, tbh.

I was lucky enough to grab a 4-pack of Oh-J at Lone Pine Brewing this weekend. It is a very great take on the New England style double IPA and lived up to the name (Juicy!).

Huh, that is interesting. I just saved those PDF's though so I can look through them later.

Edit: It's kind of the brewdog model, searching for crowd sourced investors.
