A kicker is simply not a high enough value position to take earlier than the 7th round.

The variability on kickers is so high, it's not remotely close to good value to invest a 2nd round pick.

 

Yeah and had the Eagles somehow taken Goff, well they are a finesse team, they line up in spread way more than the Rams and rarely are seen using under-center power formations so he would have had a much more comfortable transition to the NFL level and a higher chance of success there in my opinion.

 

Oh man, Bart Scott is making the jets pick hahaha yessss!

 

There were certainly more exciting picks on the board, but this just seems like an "unsexy, but effective" type pick. Which in the 3rd round is exactly what you want, IMO.

 

Bears have traded up or down on all of their picks so far.

 

Kwiatkowski is a very solid fourth round pick there. Between him and Danny Trevathan they've got some talented and well rounded linebackers in Chicago now.

 

I disagree. Wentz has a higher ceiling than Goff, so landing in Philly where he has the chance to get used to the speed of the game and develop is huge for him. Goff doesn't impress me nearly as much.

 

This what I think of when I hear the name Connor Cook.

Oh that wasn't a comparison I was just saying Goff would do better in Philly than LA, at least early on. I fully expect an ugly rookie year for Goff.

K so I love Pharoah Cooper but do the Rams just not want recievers who are long and good at competing for contested catches? Why do they think they can win with 3 sub 6'0" guys and Kenny Britt? It makes no sense in a division with Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, etc loaded with tall physical corners

I would've much preferred them take Charone Peake here

Cooper is an odd pick, would prefer a lengthier, possession receiver, doesn't seem to offer anything that Tavon doesn't.

Where in the FUCK is Devontae Booker? Jesus this is worse than Jay Ajayi's fall to round 5 last year. Such a good playmaker to still be out there.
