    With pizza, it's never wrong to go with Chianti. Ruffino has a great Chianti Classico. (The one on the right is the best. But the others should be good too).

    I'm a sucker for good pinot noir too. Au Bon Climat makes some fantastic pinots out of california. That might be hard to find, but if you find it, try it. Some of the bigger wine makers should serve you well, look for California or Oregon Pinot Noirs from Elk Cove, Duckhorn, Francis Coppola. If you want to spend less than $10, grab a bottle of the Yellowtail Shiraz/Syrah. Excellent for it's price at about $7. We could talk more about Chianti or something more adventurous like a Burgundy or Bordeaux but I think your best bet is the Ruffino Chianti i mentioned. That or a Pinot Noir. Just don't buy any merlot.

    I am actually about 80% sure I've seen the Ruffino bottle you mentioned at the liquor store closest to me. That is what I'll be going with!
