Hoping for Astros over Dodgers/D-Backs

 

Just listened to the moment it happened for Scherzer and hopefully the lip reading by the announcers is right and that his hamstring felt tight and that's it.

 

Part of me wants a rematch of the 2007 WS, but it'll probably be D'Backs v. Astros.

 

It better be fucking Twins vs Dodgers

 

Verlander vs anyone.

I'm relieved Sox won so Yankees just have the one game against the Twins instead of potentially two one-game playoffs, but the baseball fan in me wishes Boston lost so today wasn't meaningless lol

That is incredibly Tigers, or there's a can't miss guy and they pass on them to take someone cheaper and they miss on the rest of their whole draft but end up with a 4th of and a middle reliever

I’m all in on the Indians, this needs to be the year they win a ring.

 

That 5 o'clock start on Friday (instead of what I thought would be 4) works wonders for my work schedule. Hitting up both games!

That's gonna be interesting, I'm guessing manfred is gonna come down on them like he did Boston? Someone had to cheat, I guess

 

Coppolella came across as a big chump. Pretty sure all the Braves execs couldn't stand him. Glad I won't have to listen to his little girl voice during interviews now.

 

He did a good job building that system back up. That's all that matters.

 

He did a nice job building a great farm system - although it's sounding like he took an unethical route. But I feel like there has been some disagreement among all the Braves execs this year and they never stayed true to course. Too many people trying to run the show.

Also, I thought it was weird they hadn't announced their intentions with what to do with Snitker after this season.

Astros have pretty much been able to coast since May

So anxious about the one game playoff. I'm like in between content and not wanting to settle because the Yankees weren't expected to do much and are definitely behind the Indians and Astros but if everything is going right this team is definitely capable of a lot.

Severino and Sabathia, with as clutch as he's been after Yankees losses, with the bullpen they have, feel great about those parts. Not sold on Gray and Tanaka, flip a coin if he'll be amazing or absolutely terrible. I'd almost feel better with Montgomery over Tanaka at this point lol.
