I've had this happen with 3DS and WiiU several times for no apparent reason, it always stopped happening the next day

 

the video everyone has been waiting for.

 

hell yeah, I've been interested in trying darkest dungeon for a while now

 

Easily the coolest thing Nintendo did with these online SNES manuals: giving us the full Earthbound Players Guide that is impossible to find and fetches hundreds of dollars with the game.

 

I’m 95% sure the only reason I ever owned Earthbound was because it came in a bigger than normal box with that guide included. I need to dig through my old stuff next time I’m visiting my parents to see if I can find it. I would be so stoked.

I also feel like I can still smell some of the bonkers scratch and sniff stuff that came with it.

 

Wife tried to play it this morning.

But it does. The entire reason I bought a Wii U after years of not caring about video games were videos about Super Mario Maker that I saw.

 

People keep saying that but I have never seen convincing conversion numbers beyond isolated incidents, especially for AAA single player games. If anything, having your brand associated with people like PewDiePie is bad for an IP focused company like Nintendo.

 

9 times out of 10 I will look up videos of people playing the game before I throw down $60 for it.

Exceptions will be Zelda and Mario only because I don't want to come across a spoiler.

 

Golf Story is soooooo good

 

I’d literally pay an extra $20 to get Mario Odyssey right now.

 

SNES classic is so fun. I've only really played one or two games from it before so this is all new and cool.
Only downside is Mario Kart and F Zero haven't aged that well lol

 

I tried playing Super Mario Kart for the first time since the original SNES and it was so frustrating.

 

I have Mario Kart SNES on Wii U and I sort of enjoyed it for a few games.

I haven’t played a Starfox game (besides the demo from the Wii U one) but Starfox 1 & 2 are fun. I like the tactical map in 2 where you can see an overview of the galaxy and find enemies to intercept.

 

My main games right now are Super Mario World and Earthbound.

Earthbound is so ridiculously good. I can see now why it has cult status. The jokes don’t feel dated at all.

 

Earthbound aged well in a lot of ways but it's very grindy

 

Been loving Golf Story so far but my god the Disc Golf mission is driving me insane.

 

Also @zigbigwig you should really play Mother 3

 

Earthbound is fantastic but Mother 3 is even better.

 

So pleasantly surprised by golf story

 

Did a quick search on Mother 3.

I actually have a sealed Lucas amiibo I’m planning to sell. Maybe after playing that I’ll change my mind.

I hope they announce a Mother 3 port before I finish Earthbound.
