This album is absolutely phenomenal. Ugly Luck might just be the best song they have ever written.

I really love the guitar tones on this album. Album sounds fantastic.. maybe Yip's best work this year.

not yet, haha. Citizen doesn't do them much. Some really great guitar parts tho. Medicine is like a catchy EIGTH song, if that makes sense. They also do some really really cool stuff harmonically on the bridge, some diminished chord action.

 

HOLY HELL THE OUTRO TO MEDICINE... good god thats awesome

 

Ugly luck time... didn't expect that modulation to major and I didn't expect to love it that much.

 

they do a nice job at changing up the drum feels on this album.. they've gone through 3-4 different beat patterns in like 2 minutes already.
