Only thing I could find is from Wikipedia:

Also according to Wikipedia writing credits are Travis and Ron "Menno" Froese. Froese also does the guitar and vocals on that song.

I'm not sure how you can say that AVA and BCR are the same thing but then say that it would be possible to cover an AVA song in a BCR style. That means they have different styles!

I don't think that's Blake. I think this is that user who caused that ruckus that went on for several pages in the Blink article thread about Mark wanting to be more experimental. A different kind of user than Blake but in the same vein.

Tom sure acted like a douche towards Mark and Travis, we've heard the stories a million times before and we all agree on that...Tom is a d***... BUT COME ON... how can you call yourself a true Blink182 fan and dislike the first two AvA albums?

Man you seriously have to be tone deaf to not realize there's a huge difference between TOYPAJ and I-Empire. Not even talking about subjective things like quality, I mean purely objective

 

TOYPAJ and I-Empire literally sound NOTHING alike. At all. In any way shape or form. Like, not even if you listen real hard and try to clear your mind doesn't it. That's like saying Hamilton, Montana is like New York City. Yeah they're both cities but nothing nothing nothing alike

Dude I never mentioned TOYPAJ, I made a comparison between BCR record and I-Empire, BCR was the begging of experimentation, then we got Untitled and then AvA.. TOYPAJ and Enema were the golden days of glossy straight pop-punk sound. When I said I could imagine many AvA songs or BCR to be on Blink182 records, obviously i meant post-Untitled era.. and guess what? that happened... We got Neighborhoods... The opener track "Ghost on the Dancefloor" still confuses me everytime it comes on my shuffle playlist... is this Blink182 or AvA track? Oh it's a blink182 track

 

The only person who thinks BCR and AvA are similar sounding is Tom himself.

Well, if you feel like its time for some filler episodes, go back in my history and bring them back.. or shall we play some new episodes?

Brother pennywise, Tom is the same person, same songwriting style since forever, four powerchords, same old chord progressions, some lullaby melodies here and there, lyrical themes still the same about love minus the d*** jokes, just because you hear some delay effects on guitars and 2 minutes long intros, doesn't change the fact that these songs could be easily on AvA, BCR or post Untitled era Blink albums.

You just come out as hypocrites when you say "NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BCR" Hello there!!! It's the same guy, songwriter and singer! AvA and Untitled songs were probably already written the same time when BCR record came out!

It may be the same songwriter and singer, but their tone, mood, lyrics, and literally EVERYTHING is different.

 

Ah yes. If you're the same person you'll forever only make the same type of music. Nothing can ever be different if the same person made it. Got it.

 

Not to mention the fact that they actually are different things. Like, they're not the same. They are two separate entities.
