Honestly, this Hornets/Heat series has lived up to the hype. What a battle. I have zero confidence we'll win the series now, but everyone counted the Hornets out after game 2 anyway. Game 7's are so hard to predict.

 

I was expecting it to be over and done with by Game 5. Hornets are much better than I gave them credit for.

 

My respect for Rivers (Austin) went up a lot tonight. Good win Blazers. I hope we can keep everyone healthy in the next round.

 

I don't think Dwyane Wade gets put into the best shooting guard conversation enough. I'm not saying he's the best but I hardly hear his name mentioned. (I know it does, but I feel like I hardly hear his name brought up)

 

He isn't? I think most people consider him already in the Top 5 SG, with MJ at 1 and KB at 2. Weird.

Oh he's top 5 all time, easy. He's just struggling to stay healthy late in his career, but he's unreal.

 

Yep. Marvin Williams with his second goose egg of the series, Lee had 2 points, Lin was terrible/a ghost. Al and Cody had double figures in scoring. Kemba can't do it all for us to win a game. And of course, Batum only playing one half really hurt.

At the end of the day, we still had a chance to close out, but Wade is a god, and made two of the most improbable 3's ever. Hadn't made a 3 in 4 months. When you're great you're great.

 

when whiteside fouled out i thought they had a chance to come back but then wade decided to takeover. dragics big third quarter didn't help either. its fun watching this team take the heat to game seven without MKG basically ALL season and batum out these last few games.
