I’ve been talking to a girl on tinder a good amount the last couple of days and I think it’s actually going well? She actually initiated the conversation which threw me off, especially because I struggle to be the first to message

I think I get this. Is it because when you get upset about something the person just tells you you're being "crazy" and that nothing is really wrong or you're overreacting? Because that is what would happen in my last relationship and someone had to explain "gaslighting" to me and I still don't really get it but basically that person is doing stuff you don't like on purpose but making you feel like it is your fault when you react?? Something like that. Either way, I think you're not supposed to feel like you "invent" problems OR you're in an abusive relationship because the person you're with is supposed to make you feel the opposite of those things. I have a lot of thoughts on this apparently!

You’re 20? I think I had my first breakup when I was your age. My second by the time I was 23, and the third sometime after I turned 24. Twice as the dumper, once as the dumpee. Single now and enjoying it tho????? Sort of????? Basically I look back at my failed relationships with a sigh of relief. I’ve done a lot of growing these last five years and you will too I’m sure but that growth took a looooooot of pain and reflection.
