I'm not a fan of beer, but I'll try everything once. I like the idea of beer, like coming home after a long day of work and "crackin' open a cold one" and relaxing, but I'm just not big on the taste. I could drink Guinness like water and I drink shitty beer in the shower for the novelty of it, but other than that I'm not big on the stuff.

I don't really drink Mike's Hard or ciders anymore ever since I found out I'm pre-diabetic. Really citrus-y mixed drinks and vodka get to my heartburn really bad too.

Damn I feel old.

 

That's how I feel about weed. The thought of getting off work and smoking a bowl and playing video games sounds magical but, alas, I get so paranoid when I smoke.

I also get killer heartburn so I shouldn't drink but I do

 

Same! I've only ever taken edibles and only ever with my wife but I freak out every goddamn time, to the point to where she gets genuinely freaked out

 

All the cool people drink beer and whiskey dammit

 

I've never had a fun feeling high. Not to say that I've had bad feelings or that I hate it...ive just tried sooooo many times and have never felt a "fun high" or "relaxing high"

 

I can't stand MBMBaM or anything else the McElroy brothers do. They're 3 man-children sitting around laughing at each other's dumb jokes. And the fact that the youngest brother refers to himself as "Sweet Baby Brother" is super cringy

 

Saying "super cringy" is super cringy and also the McElroys are great

 

I had someone recommend The Adventure Zone to me yesterday and when I asked what that was he said it’s by the McElroy brothers which means nothing to me because I have no idea who they are or why I should care

Glad I'm not the only one. A bunch of my friends are into them and I tried listening to one of their podcasts and do not see what the appeal is at all.

 

So you've never had a fun time, a relaxing time, or a bad time. What kind of time is there to have left? Haha

I prefer dunkin donuts to krispy Kreme, that said to further add to this... I don't even really like donuts or anything SUPER SUGARY.

 

not necessarily uncommon but i dont give a fuck about star wars or harry potter, although i once was a moderately big fan of both

 

The "comparing anything that happens in politics/the real world to Harry Potter" crowd kinda ruined it for me

 

The way people talk about their Harry Potter houses makes me nauseous

 

Yeah I think Harry Potter was a thing where it was like "That was fun! Okay let's move on" and then 80% of fandom disagreed with that take and now we have to hear about Harry Potter forever

I love Star Wars but I also get not caring about it

 

I never got into Harry Potter, never had anything against it, just didn't care for it. I too into Pokémon, YugiOh, Final Fantasy, and Wrestling when that was taking over my age range lol.

 

The seven Harry Potter books and the original Star Wars trilogy are masterpieces but both sets of fans seem to have largely decided that they're the ultimate in fiction and art and are very happy to return to the nostalgia well for both to ride that high for a year until a new mediocre movie comes out.

 

Does Harry Potter have a bad fanbase? I haven’t had any awful interactions. Can’t be worse than Doctor Who.

 

Fandoms in general are insufferable for me. Like people whos main personality trait is their obsession with Harry Potter or whatever else and they try to make you feel like a dummy for not knowing Hedwig's favorite color. There are definitely worse ones than HP though, for sure. Music fandoms can be rough too while we're at it

 

wow this is *just* like when professor umbridge (who's patronus is a persian cat btw) tried to persecute all of the students (but especially the gryffindors!!) because she didn't believe that he who must not be named was responsible for murdering cedric who just fyi btw his girlfriend cho was one of the first of the hogwarts students to join dumbledore's army which is just so like omg duhhhhh!!

 

Harry Potter = books for children. I like 'em though...

Also, J.K. Rowling sucks.

Also, "beard culture" really sucks - what's up with all those guys?!?!?
