    Hahaha yeah totally.

This is one of the millions of times I wished I lived in/near New York so I could attend those album shows. Seeing MTCM and PYGTR live would be a dream come true.

    Meet me in Montauk. Prestigious

I still feel this way tbh. Not bad but I definitely prefer other KD records

is it a songwriting thing or a preference for his more brash records?

So who do we think these special guests will be at the album shows in December? Jesse Lacey? Andy Hull?

I was late to the KD party (only jumped on after BTCAC) - but he has become far and away my favourite artist over the years - Absolutely love the guy to bits

Same except bubblegum/bulldozer is when I jumped in. There was already a rich and rewarding discog waiting for me

I cannot believe how underrated/unknown he is - Seen him live 6 or 7 times and been impeccable every time

Bubblegum is probably my personal fave - All killer no filler (except maybe Capybara)

Hard to pick a favorite album though ball game is undoubtedly my favorite song. I have missed him coming here at least twice so still only seen him once total. I don't ever wanna miss one of his shows again he's great in that setting

I like it fine - Just seems a bit incidental compared to everything else!

Saw him first time supporting Cursive and only really knew Cotton Crush at that point - Hard to pick whether I preferred his solo tours or full band shows

This is a dream tour wtf. I'm jealous as hell. I've yet to experience a solo show too :/ any tour w kd or cursive is tops

Being in the UK i've been pretty lucky with his tours - He comes over pretty often and has been on some great bills - Seen him support Front Bottoms, Manchester Orchestra (with Bad Books too :-)

You know how everyone said "TBS was better anyway" after the BN scandal came out?

Replace that with KevDev for me. Kevin was one of my gateways to other music genres and I grew to appreciate him on a deeper level. My signed poster for Split the Country/Split the Street remains high on my wall above the empty spot where a Deja Entendu poster used to be.

Those BN shows I went to in high school aren't totally ruined... because I can still cherish the fact that I discovered an artist who actually is morally grounded, empathetic, and humble, whose music and lyrics impacted me even more.

But in Kevin's Facebook post he talks about his history of drug use, addiction, alcoholism. It's in his songs. And that kinda stuff can have a massive negative effect on the people around you. Drugs are illegal.

So morally grounded just seems odd. Yes, it sounds very much like its in his past. He's human too though. No one immune to flaws. He also seems like the nicest guy. I love listening to him in interviews, and just hearing him talk about music.

I don't want to start a big debate. Just a thought.
