I like his voice on his last solo album quite a bit.

 

It is still deeply frustrating to me how much better the demos are than the album

 

yup, I remember being SO excited for that record to come out and being pretty disappointed. I love the album now but I still go back to those demos often.

 

I love it all. John Nolan can do no wrong.

How was Daisy originally received?

I have listened to Deja and TDAG many times but for whatever reason just never listened to Daisy all the way through until now and honestly.....I didn't enjoy half the album at all.

What about you guys?

 

Daisy was tied for best or their second best for years in my book

 

people either hated it or loved it.

I loved it. still listen to it all the time. SciFi == TDAG >Daisy >>deja>>>>>>>your favorite weapon

 

Daisy was very polarizing. I have always enjoyed it, but it’s never been my favorite.

 

I love brand new (obviously) but when I don't want a super deep listen or i'm mowing the lawn or want something just a little bit harder I'd pick daisy.

 

I remember when daisy came out a friend of mine called me after she heard it almost in tears at the thought of not liking an album by her favorite band haha. Over time it grew on her. I liked at the bottom from the beginning but for a long time I just listened to the few songs I immediately liked and didn’t appreciate the rest until later.

 

I remember when Daisy leaked. It was the same day my dog died. I ended up jumping online some time in the afternoon, found the leak, and put it on repeat. The first time I hit play on Vices I thought for sure the leak was fake.

So my first impression was actually enjoyable because I needed some kind of relief from my reality

 

Daisy is a 10/10 dont @ me unless you agree
