harmlessness has a different vocalist from w,ie
same main vocalist as on harmlessness but two others take leads on some tracks

 

okay cool. Hopefully nothing as grating as whoever was doing most of the lead vocals on WIE. I liked all the vocals on Harmlessness. is the guy who sings in the intro to You Can't Live There Forever on this anywhere?

I saw this tweet this morning and that was the only reason i knew it leaked, haha.

 

So that was Nicole , and they were kicked from the band, so no.

yikes, I knew there was something going on but didnt know what exactly. She did the vocals in YCLTF? Very disappointing.

 

i'm sure it's fine since she shared it publicly

i really want to read the lyrics to both hilltopper and faker, definitely some parts i missed in there that i really want to hear.

also can't wait to see the liner notes to see the guests on here

 

the biggest thing about this band is that through having so many members and vocalist changes the band's discography still works as a whole. everything the band has done has felt like this band.

i feel this record is the beginning of the final era of the band. not in that they're almost done, but that they've finally figured out the cohesive form of the band that will remain for years to come.

 

Harmlessness just SOUNDS so good. Especially the drums. I forgot how much i love this album.

 

chris is such an amazing engineer and perfect/necessary part of this band

also i'm going to the release show friday hope to see some peeps there

 

i love The Future it's my favorite

although it is straight forward and catchy, that may die down as i grow into the other songs. for now it always cheers me up

accentuated by the chris teti signature snare sound

 

my biggest complaint about this album is the snare aint loud enough

 

you better take that up with Chris

Ah yes, time to delve into pages upon pages of critique of snare loudness

 

the only top 10 list i'm willing to make is a "Top 10 snare drums"

 

Liked this a lot on first listen, The Future was definitely a pleasant surprise

 

"I was bored, so I replaced all the snare hits with the St. Anger snare drum. You're welcome."

 

I think both fightboat and the word Lisa are leagues better than the future, but I recognize that's not entirely fair to say since I've had years with the other two songs. I'm sure it'll grow on me, it's the only track I'm not really crazy about I think

 

Never have I felt so conflicted about liking a post.

 

Oh man that European press is a really sweet looking too. I need to find a way to go to this freaking show.

 

Gotta respect that signature snare sound haha
