Haha when I first heard Dammit I thought the lyric was “I guess sister’s growing up” That didn’t make much sense to me.

 

There's a line in Passion Pit's Carried Away that I first heard as "I'm your favorite pony, and I like macaroni." Idk why I heard it this way first, but I can't not sing this line when it comes on.

 

Full of intricacies, but the feel and articulation might be difficult to nail down.

 

I originally thought Taylor Swifts Blank Space said “I’m a lonely Starbucks lover”, rather than “long list of ex lovers”

I often see people’s misheard lyrics and think “is that not what it actually is?!?!”.

Actually iirc somebody in here corrected the way I had been hearing the last line of Bought A Bride for YEARS. Originally my take was "Somehow I always knew when everything was unsaid, I'd go and buy a hammer. Never sing again."


Clearly wrong and makes no sense now that I look back.
