I just played some Let It Die. I think it's a pretty great game. I probably also won't be playing anymore of it, it makes me feel weird.

 

Arkham Asylum/City are $12 on PSN. Yes pls.

 

Skyrim is good.

I DID play Primal though, for about an hour and it was definitely something

 

Hell yeah, can't wait to buy horse cards. Hopefully this single player isn't just an afterthought to Red Dead Online.

 

Finished Telltale Batman. The only other time it took me this long to finish a Telltale game was Game of Thrones, because I was avoiding it, haha. I really like that I took my time with it and played an episode a week, although breaks any longer than that in between would be a bit much for me. Playing the episodes as they come out must be painful. Anyway, this is not very far behind Tales from the Borderlands as my most favorite Telltale game. I tried to play as a more compassionate Bruce (except when it came to Harvey kind of; I wanted to see how TT handled his transformation), and I found the relationships with Selina and Al to be particularly fulfilling. The main villain's backstory was pretty standard once it was revealed, but it still made the character an empathetic person to some capacity, and in turn it made the ending all the more satisfying thematically I wish I could say that was satisfying emotionally, but come on, death by falling rock? Called it from a mile away. And it wasn't very well-executed (haha, punny), either. "I'll NEVER trust you. ...AHHH!" I feel like they could've handed that a little better. All in all, I'd say the dialogue choices, detective mode, and fight scenes, basically the whole game-play-ness of it, were very well done for a Telltale game, but obviously if you're playing a Telltale game, you're playing it for the story, and except for some minor nitpicks I have with it ( A major plot point is that Harvey caught Bruce staying the night at Selina's? And did they really have to shoehorn the Joker into this?) I'd say the story is pretty damn good.

IIRC in Arkham Knight, Catwoman doesn't know who's under the cowl, which is really weird to me because in Telltale, she finds out who he is pretty soon after meeting Bats for the first time, and in Gotham, they meet as friggin kids. His relationship with Talia in City never made sense to me. I guess I just like to see Selina as his primary love interest, haha

Holy shit Pyre is so good. Running around with a little monster owl, dunking on witches in fantasy basketball feels so fucking awesome.

 

The Scarecrow part of Arkham Asylum is the fucking best.

Madden 17 is probably the way to go instead of 18; 18 is horrendous. Player AI is borked.

 

I wish Origins was coming out like next week. Or first week in October. Ughhhh

I say that partially in jest, but that is one of the three sports games I ever got into. The other two were NHL 94 for the Sega Genesis and Winning Eleven for Xbox

 

FIFA 2002 on Gamecube is my go to sports game.

 

Mario Strikers Charged is the only sports game imo

 

Is Blood Bowl any good? I used to love Mutant League Football as a kid and could be down with trying something similar.
