I put significantly less ketchup on my hot dogs today than I did five years ago, but I find a tiny squirt of it to go along with a bunch of mustard is pretty nice.

Ketchup + mustard I think is a staple. Ketchup alone though? idk how I feel about that

Mustard is the pitts**. I don't know how else to put it. It's offensive to me....unless it's honey mustard with emphasis on honey.

ketchup was made to be excellent on chicken fingers and french fries but imo it is a last resort on just about anything else. i'd rather have a hot dog with ketchup than a plain hot dog but i get why its offensive to people from places where lots of hot dog toppings is the norm.

Laughable that people think ketchup has such a narrow use. It is the most versatile condiment that exists.

Not to start another debate, but more versatile than mayo?

    Mayo is reprehensible.

Ranch can be used on salads, burgers, fries, pasta salad, etc. I wish it was good on hot dogs.

  20. I'd be interested in banning everyone who voted for ketchup only.

    Mustard only for life.

100% of the time? What about aiolis or other mayo based recipes? I'm not a fan of mayo in general, but it's versatility is undeniable.

Every time I go out to eat and get fries, I ask that they bring me all of their aiolis

I would assume most are mayo based. That's why I consider mayo to be the most versatile... you can get 1000s of different kinds of aoili, but there are rarely alternate versions to ketchup, and when there are, they're pretty basic.

edit: or at least aiolis are made from egg yolk/oil which is essentially mayo.
