  1. It wasn't until they put A Place In The Sun on Spotify that I discovered there was a pre-gap track on "Four." Blew my mind since I've been listening to that album semi-regularly since it came out... haha.

what a neat little tool. I didn't think a ton about my choices though, I like all the albums obviously but I didn't make much distinction between "second-tier classics" or "other favorites" and it was picked off the top of my head/scrolling through my Apple Music library, and once I ran out of room I just stopped.

Top 10 album lists are hard because my top few change fairly often, but I'll give it a go...

    1. Jimmy Eat World - Clarity
    2. Blink-182 - Untitled
    3. American Football - LP1
    4. Quicksand - Slip
    5. Owen - At Home With...
    6. Box Car Racer - Self Titled
    7. Somos - Temple Of Plenty
    8. Turnover - Peripheral Vision
    9. Motion City Soundtrack - Commit This To Memory
    10. Hall & Oates - Private Eyes

Hah I was a poor pirate-kid back then, I downloaded their album in "HIGH QUALITY" MP3s (128kbps) from WinMX or iMesh and yehhh there was no pre-gap track on "Four".

A few years later I bought the physical album (here it is hanging on my wall)

I would take it out to check if there's a pre-track on it but I got no CD-player to play it :crylaugh:

Alright I need help making this decision......on Friday I'll be at the Life is Beautiful festival in Vegas, and Blink is playing at the same time as Chance. All my friends wanna go watch Chance. Do I join them, or do I go by myself and see Blink for the 14th time. I've already seen them 3 times on this California tour cycle and the sets have been practically the same every time. But still....it's Blink. Lol decisions, decisions!

Go see blink if the setlist has changed, but I'm sure it won't, and never will, so definitely don't see blink.

If you've seen them 14 times and 3 times on this cycle then you should definitely go with Chance haha

CDs are cool and all but I still have My Own Worst Enemy on cassette! I think it might have been the first single I ever bought when I was like 12 or so. (It was probably actually something more embarrassing but I'm rolling with that haha).

1000% go see Chance. blink's set will be almost word-for-word exactly the same as the time's you've seen them recently. Chance was one of my favorite shows this year and Coloring Book material is incredible live.

Man..there's nothing to be ashamed of.. every kid from 00s owned some Backstreet Boys or Britney CDs back then :crylaugh:

Britney's first album was fire! Also forget the DHC/Apple Shampoo connection from a couple of pages back. Online Songs was clearly a reply to "Email My Heart". Replace "Josie" with "Britney" in the first line and we're through the looking glass.

I saw someone consider seeing blink-182 over Chance the Rapper and fainted. I just now came to. I need smelling salts. I'm dizzy.

My Top 10 Albums change, except for number 1...that will forever be Dude Ranch.

  23. Pretty much me too. But if it was between like Blink-182 and American Football/Quicksand/Owen/Mineral, I'd most likely have to ditch Blink.
