These are pretty fun - it's pretty neat knowing other people are listening to the exact same thing as you at that exact point in time and then sharing your thoughts on what you're experiencing.

Sorry that I didn't have much to contribute in terms of lyrics, etc. but I was just soaking it in on my first listen.

 

Back in the day the Degrassi cast went on a mall tour across the US. I couldn't go to Atlanta stop, but the cast member for that date was Toby so I wasn't too bummed about it. I recently found out one of my coworkers went to the one in NJ where she met both Craig & Drake.

 

I made it! Tracks 1 and 5 were my favorites.

The way the bonus track ended, I was waiting to hear Jesse sing "Never to see any other way".

 

I stuck it out, and I enjoyed it on the whole, but I was not prepared for that sudden change in the first track.

 

No worries at all. Once I create the album thread we should def do one for the new album. Although that one will be a lot to take in as well. It's an intimidating beast of an album. I will be much more motivated to listen if I know others are listening at the same time as me

Also @truelovewaits we should do it in the Owel - Dear Me album thread sometime. I agree these are fun. I love getting the reactions and live thoughts while everyone is listening to the same thing.

An episode of the OC with my wife (we just started the Trey storyline in season 2)

A couple episodes of Dinner With Dad (until my wife goes to sleep)

Hopefully an episode or two of Atlanta (until I go to sleep)

 

Ugh Toby is the worst

 

For me, Jerry is the standard for comedy. If a comedian isn't at least as funny as Jerry, than that comedian is not funny.

The special was great. There were a few jokes I'd heard before, but it was cool and he talked about his early career a bit which was interesting. I'd say I enjoyed it and I look forward to whatever else his deal with Netflix will bring.
