I feel like I've done both of those things....this thread is moving soooo fast. Did a little work now I can't keep up with it anymore.

 

Work schmork.

 

Lit Me Up and Batter Up are such perfect openers and closers. Like they bookend the record absolutely perfectly. 2 brooding, atmospheric tracks. LMU sets the mood off and BU sends you off perfectly and makes you want to go from BU right back to LMU and play the whole thing over again.

 

For a band that has amazing closers....this is my favorite

 

Love this extended outro. Great album. Really happy we got to experience it together again

 

Kinda like Dear Me @truelovewaits Slow and Albert & the Hurricane. Maybe that should be one of our next listening parties!!!

 

That final synth makes me want more every time! Feel like live that'd be great to play before the encore. Have the synth play out as people chant "one more song"

This is late, but I was just catching up on the thread & couldn't pass up a chance to discuss Degrassi. My favorite characters were Manny & Craig even though their relationship made no sense. (What did they even have in common?)

Come to think of it, I got into Degrassi around the same time I started listening to Brand New. I kept watching for way too long, probably until 2010-11.

 

Texted my gf before and after the listening party. Thought i'd share it in here.
