Yeah, if I were putting on money on it, I don't think Vogel leaves either. I do think they severely need to invest in an offensive minded assistant to help on that front though.

tbh vogel doesn't have much to work with aside from PG and the upside of turner.

I'd trade Vogel for Byron Scott is Monta was included

I am hating him more and more

I'd almost trade Monta for Byron Scott to come back and play. He'd probably be less of a ball hog/chucker.

    This is painful.

  9. Such poor shooting. When the C's can't score they cannot score.

    Trusted Supporter

Was hoping the Celtics would do a little better in an elimination game.

Knew this was going to be all but impossible without Bradley, but even still, this is disheartening.

Welp, this is disappointing. Hope the Hawks give the Cavs hell next round. They were the better team.

Oh well. It was a really fun season and there's a lot to be excited for next year.

I have been doing everything I did during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons in preparation for tomorrow's Heat-Hornets game. Maybe D-Wade will pull back the hands of time and drop 40. Here's hoping.

Ugh the morons have already begun "Time to trade everyone but Isaiah so the team can improve". Sigh.

That's absurd. Celtics have one of the brighter futures in the NBA and one of the best coaches. Can't believe even super reactionary fans would say that sort of stuff.

Especially since they have the third best lottery odds in the draft too.

I'm fine with Making some moves. I'm done with Sully and Olynk. I think everything is on the table except for Smart and Thomas. Not desperate to trade anyone, But if the offer is right, why not?

I think getting rid of a healthy Olynyk would be foolish. He looked really good before the injury. A guy that big who can shoot the 3 and still put the ball on the floor is pretty valuable.

And I'd be gutted if we didn't keep Avery Bradley long term

Celtics still just have role players, they should be making every move to get the superstar guy they need.

Given their history with big free agents literally never going there, they probably try. Players just don't ever choose to go there, for whatever reason.

They don't really have the pieces to trade for a superstar.

Sure they do. Top 3 pick, Future Brooklyn Pick, Future Grizz pick which will be late lottery. Smart has some value. Crowder has sneaky value because his contract is so affordable. There's some real fire behind the Butler to Boston smoke.
