Getting some good buzz

 

I was thinking about creating a thread for this.

I watched the first half and it's MUCH funnier than I expected.

I'm excited to watch the rest. Really well done satire, imo.

 

Binged the whole thing last night, was a ton of fun

 

Just burned through the back half of this. Lots of fun. Have these guys done other stuff worth looking into?

 

I knew my girlfriend wouldn't want to watch this, so I sold it to her real hard as another Netflix true crime doc that we shouldn't look up as to not spoil for ourselves. Got ten or so minutes in before she got suspicious and looked it up, which was way longer than I'd anticipated. Anyways, first ep was really good, excited to watch the rest.

 

Loved this a lot, my girlfriend and I were dying of laughter the whole way through. Only thing they did wrong was they got Vernon from Youre The Worst in this and did absolutely nothing with him.

 

This was so much better than it had any right to be. My fave part was whenever the "cool" teacher was onscreen.

 

This is amazing.

 

Why did everybody assume a true crime parody wouldn't be good? This looked great from the outset and Dylan was so perfectly vacant

 

The squishy toilet seat stuff destroyed me.

 

The ball hair defense was a good bit

Watched the first two episodes and love this. I'm also someone who is bored to death by true crime shows (and especially Making a Murderer). So to see it taken on in a satire form is perfection to me. Also crazy how well done it all is too.

I knew it was gonna be great the dat Jimmy posted the trailer on his Facebook page and people were like "Netflix has hit a new low"

 

Damn, Clean Up was a damn fine ending to the story arc, surprisingly deep.

 

Saw a trailer for this the other day and was intrigued by it. It's in the queue now.

 

Watched the first three episodes and really enjoyed it. The hand job scenario was hilarious.

 

I already want to watch this again. Instant cult classic.

 

It's almost perfect, yeah. Really something special

 

I'm only three eps in but I was giggling constantly, and I rarely giggle, I either laugh or I don't. As a documentary addict this is just a perfect deconstruction of it all. There are so many boring, innocuous topics out there that if you wrap in some talking heads and a heavy tone I'll be like "yeah this is so interesting" so I'm partially laughing at myself.

The kid who plays Dylan is perfect. Like, I knew that guy in high school. The embodiment of the meathead class clown. Idk how the fuck there are five more episodes of this but I am fully on board.
