Edit: this is totally gonna come off as a brag, and I apologize in advance, but last semester I had a paper due and of course I waited until the night before to write it. To me, it was hot garbage, but I turned that shit in and the professor pulled me aside after class and not only did I get an A, but he told me that in his six years teaching that class that my paper easily had the best thesis and opening statements he'd ever read. After that I was just like, whatever, this method seems to be working so I might as well stick with it lol. I'm just good at bullshitting my way through school I'm not actually an intellectual haha
