Well if you're Aaron Gillespie, this is that record.

The truth is they could have done the Mene/IAAN pop rock album and made it better than each of those songs (and I don't really dislike either of those songs).

I don't think the notes would be hard to learn but nailing the feel and articulation would be.

 

Yeah it's definitely the articulation and feel. I could probably learn it but super slow and not efficiently lol. I took a few lessons in middle school and then self-taught so I'm terrible at intricate stuff, but damnit if I can't put together a solid rhythm guitar riff haha

I'm usually not huge on guitar solos but good god, if I could learn to play any guitar solo it would the one on The Dear Hunter's "Is There Anybody Here?"
