the bass line in lit me up is a high point on the album, it's so good and get's me so into the song. i frequently find myself just humming the bass line.

 

you should listen to ledges and go from there.. a great artist, more than just a "singer/songwriter... also be careful if @Craig Manning catches wind of this he will come for you.

 

I've been hearing Can't Get It Out twice a day on the radio

 

the bass line is good and all but how about when the guitar comes in and freaking harmonizes it

 

4:30 (when I grow up I want to be a heretic) is my favorite part of Lit Me Up.

I couldn't have written my first listening experience better. I worked at the mall in high school and bought the record on my lunch break. Drove home after work(9:30ish) windows down on a cool summer night. Got about halfway through the record on the way home, and stayed in the car, in my driveway and finished the record before going inside.

Mine was in a living room with two of my friends, we got to tommy gun and we all said "HOLY SHIT" at the same time.

 

I feel left out, I already am three quarters into A black mile or I would join

 

Right now I think Science Fiction is basically tied with TDAG for me, but I'll need more time with it to really tell. TDAG came out when I was starting college & my music taste definitely matured a lot because of that record.

As for MO, I've only listened to Black Mile a few times but plan on going back to it more before I see them in Oct. My favorite MO record is Simple Math (though Hope is pretty close), which I think is an unpopular opinion among fans.

 

Seems like we are having a listening party up in here! I love it

 

ha, based off of that you should really love a black mile too.. since I consider it somewhere between those two albums.
