  1. Currently we are debating how to pronounce "AT-ST" compared to AT-ATs.

For sure. S4 and on is a different show. It starts with Fun Run, for sure.

  4. And the Jim Pam wedding is pretty good.

(Jim being a dick and the writing of Pam I will not forgive though.)

I still haven't watched s9. I've only seen the finale of that season. I think I'm okay with that.

Lol "here is a threateningly handsome man who loves Pam and will test her faithfulness because drama". Yeah that was bad.

Remember how they used an episode on season 8 as a pilot for "The Farm?

It would have been pretty shitty, but I'm sure it'd been better than most of comedies on NBC at the time that failed.

It's the best show I've ever seen. I love love LOVE Twin Peaks to death and the newest season is a god damn masterpiece. I have a Twin Peaks tattoo for god's sake. I could sing it's praises for days. With that said, it is only three seasons and the second season has a pretty big dip in quality due to David Lynch leaving over creative differences. Mad Men is seven seasons of pure gold. Don Draper isn't a character to me, he is a person.

One thing I've noticed is that the friends I have who defend the series as a whole either binged the whole thing towards the end/after it ended, or have recently watched the whole thing over from beginning to end. And they always come back to how funny it is and how the laughs don't really taper off in quantity outside of the unwatchable Spader episodes. I don't think they're totally wrong about that, but it just undersells what made the show actually good. The Tim Meadows/Chili's episode, the one where Michael is the only one to show up at Pam's art show, the Michael/Jim convo on the booze cruise...they were tossing that stuff out effortlessly, and after s3 they really struggled to capture that feeling again.

Michael going to see Pam's art and insisting on buying the painting of their office makes me cry every time without fail.

Not even really opinion. Like that moment is really comparable to the time the Fonz literally jumped a shark in water skis and created the term.

Season 9 wasn't bad outside the cameraman storyline and the farm, at least in the context of the rest of the later seasons. Clark Duke was a surprisingly good addition and fake Jim was the first time Erin was likable since the first season she's in.

Best post 3 episodes (not positive on actual titles of these): bankruptcy, the surplus, probably one of the holly ones, and the second to last one

  24. Yeah at this point "fun run" or "spadering it" or "driving into a lake" are synonymous with it for me.

(No idea what to even call Himym's trek.)
