Im so jealous of that IATA. Id be happy to get my hands on any pressing of that.

 

Yeah man! Great fuckin' record. It's nuts that I paid less for this test press than I would for the normal record. Why is it so hard to find?

 

I don't know why its hard to find, but I haven't yet, at least not while I had the money to pay for it.

 

Bought a hundred more MoFi sleeves, starting the painstaking process of cleaning and resleeving everything.

Still got 500 more to go

If you don't have the funds for a VPI or an AudioDesk, I still stand by the SpinClean. It's a 7/10, but it's almost a thousand bucks more for a 9/10.

If your albums aren't FILTHY, it'll do you fine.

I preordered as well but still haven't received a tracking #. Just hope it's in my mailbox today after work!

 

I got a $50 gift card for my local record store. I'm going there in a few minutes after I get off work! I'm thinking about picking up Dear You by Jawbreaker, at least.

OG Felix Culpa. Not really a local Milwaukee band, but they played here often enough that it felt like it.

 

Also spinning the new O'Brother at the moment, but it won't go up on social media because I like to not flood people with the records. Haha.

 

It blows my mind the records you are playing and you just got a turntable a week ago.

 

I've been collecting for 7 years. I've got 30 records that have been waiting to be spun properly.

Got a lot of time to make up with these pressings. Haven't broken out The Alchemy Index yet. Still in the plastic.

Can someone explain to me how record labels "lose" records?

It's frustrating when they post on Twitter "just found more copies of this limited pressing we did, who wants them?"

 

If they're a larger label, I suppose it's possible to lose a box of overrruns. Hot Topic does this constantly and then posts it online for DIRT cheap.

I got 9 copies of Manipulator for $1 a piece. I just wanted to see if they'd process it, and, well.

 

Haha, that's amazing! Record isn't cheap these days either.
