I am at an impasse here. I don't care for Science Fiction, but @Raditz replies are gold and I can't help but like it.

What didn't you like about SF?

 

Notable songs that are great, but a lot of lull and snooze inducing ones in between them. It's not a complete let down, but it's subpar.

 

Which ones out of curiosity fall into the "snooze inducing" songs?

Can we talk for a second about how they've been opening their recent shows with "Lit Me Up" into its lyrical counterpart "Gasoline"? So cool.

pretty comfortable saying I'm enjoying science fiction much more than I ever liked TDAG

 

Best compliment I've ever received.

 

I still think TDAG is their masterpiece, but in time I do see SF surpassing it. I love the album, I think it's some of their best work, but it's a lot to digest and process. I've been listening to it quite religiously though and I love it more and more each time. The same thing happened for me with TDAG. Until that came out, I doubted they could surpass Deja, and when I heard TDAG for the first time I was like "holy shit, what is this dark, massive thing?" But after several listens and diving into the themes of the album, I realized its greatness.

Yea, I don't get it. I did look at his Twitter feed once, but don't really feel any need to look again.

 

I've never fooled with him, but I got bored and decided to tweet that. Eh, I've seen worse.

 

I can't say I've looked into anything related to this blake dude past the conversations in the album thread, nor do I intend to.
