While playing through it I thought it was incredible, but after some time now, I'm starting to realize I didn't like it as much as I thought. I haven't touched it since beating Ganon, and I have no desire to. The open world was cool, but the beast "dungeons" were a huge disappointment.

 

Wind Waker is still the best

Serious question: what Zelda games do you feel differently about that way? There's no post-game so I'm p much always done after Ganon

 

I still have the urge to play Wind Waker, and have played through that one a few times as well as some others. For BOTW, there's just no desire to do everything again. And for being an open world game with other stuff to do, I have no urge to go back to finish the ones I had left.

I really hated the breakable weapon thing too

 

I'm talking about the literal Microsoft flight simulator.

 

I think BOTW usurped Wind Waker's number one spot for me but, yeah, that game is incredible.

Yeah breakable weapons can get fucked. It did shake up how I handled certain scenarios though, espec getting ambushed with like nothing on me lol

I think Link's Awakening DX is my favorite Zelda, it's truly incredible that it was a Gameboy game.

 

It's not my fault that you didn't know Lockheed Martin set the new standard for a flight sim and has been setting it for a while.

At this point my Switch is a glorified 3DS because there's so little to play outside of BOTW and I just can't stand BOTW. It took all the things I love about Zelda and went "Hey guess what you don't do that anymore"

I accept that it was a bold move and that a lot of people like it but it's just not for me at all
