I genuinely can't remember if it was in this thread/on this site, a shitpost on twitter, in a tv show, or a conversation with a friend, but I remember seeing something about someone arguing that actually if you're submerged in water you are not wet, and you can only be considered wet once you are out of the water.

Tl;dr: maybe water isn't really wet.
