I'd at least give it another week or two...when healthy, Eifert is one of the best touchdown TE targets in the league. Problem is, guy can never stay healthy. I have him in one of my leagues and have no problems putting him out there this week.

Am I crazy for playing Cohen and Gillislee over Hyde this week? in PPR

    Winston or Goff?

I'm actually not sure. Chicago played solid d last week.

    Pats D or Steelers D?

Also, someone offered me Sammy Watkins for Joe Mixon. Do I do it?

Which defense would you start this week of these three:

    Texans @ Bengals
    Jags v Titans
    Panthers v Bills

    Also, pick 2 (1 QB, 1 RB). 0.5 PPR

    Russell Wilson v SF
    Cam Newton v BUF
    Carlos Hyde @SEA
    Tarik Cohen @ TB

    I'm Only Here to Disappoint

I'm really at a loss for what I should do this week. I have too many options, lol.

I think Gurley, Miller, Jones are all locks. Really just trying to get some insight into who I should start in WR2 and the Flex. Standard scoring.

I think I'd go with Texans or Panthers, it's real close. Bengals offense was terrible last week, so I think that would make me want to go with the Texans.

Wilson, SF is terrible, so he's going to have a bounce-back week.
Cohen is obviously the riskier start, still don't know what kind of workload he's going to get with Howard still in the picture. Hyde is the safer play, but I think Cohen has more upside.

If for this week, I'd go with neither of the D's. NE at NO should be high scoring and NE just got scorched by KC. Pit might be without 2 of their top LBs and face Minnesota who just showed they can score. Any waiver wire options like Balt?

  11. Who do I start at qb this week ? Rivers or Stafford ? I'm not sure if I like Stafford this week.

I would say Rivers. the Giants' pass D is pretty good.

Pick one for my flex. 12 teams, 0.5 PPR (lost Allen Robinson)

    D. Parker @LAC
    C. Kupp vs. WSH
    B. Allen vs. CLE
    J. Rodgers vs. CHI

Sammy Watkins or Austin Hooper for my flex this week?

    Watkins

Hooper had a big game but one of his long catches was a busted coverage and he only had 2 targets

I was so pissed that I benched him but I couldn't sit Jordan Reed.

My team is stacked at RB (with Brees at QB) but my receivers are DEPLORABLE, especially with Allen Robinson out for year.

Which two should I pick...they're all not great choices:

    Crowder vs LAR
    Kupp vs WASH
    Marshall vs DET
    Golladay vs NYG
    Agholor vs KC
    Corey Davis vs Jax

I'm leaning toward Crowder and Kupp.

I would leave your lineup as is tbh. Crabtree is a safe WR2 play, eslecially against the Jets. I'd start Fitz over Bryant because Fitz will for sure get work against the Colts, while Bryant and Ben may need to work on their connection some more and a matchup against the Vikings might not be the best time to search for it

    Drew Baldy

    Trusted

    Team 1: (1ppr)

    QB: Jameis Winston
    WR: Julio Jones
    WR: DeAndre Hopkins
    WR: Randall Cobb
    RB: Jordan Howard
    RB: Todd Gurley
    TE: Cameron Brate vs. Bears
    FLEX:
    K: Blair Wash
    Defense: Los Angeles Rams

    Bench:

    WR: Jamison Crowder vs. Rams
    RB: Jacquizz Rodgers vs. Bears
    RB: Bilal Powell vs. Raiders
    RB: Thomas Rawls vs. 49ers
    RB: Javorius Allen vs. Browns
    RB: Kerwynn Williams vs. Colts
    TE: Coby Fleener vs. Patriots

Three questions if anyone would be kind enough to give me some input:

    1. Should I start Brate or Fleener in the TE spot?
    2. Who should I put in that Flex position?
    3. Do I have any RB that you feel like I could part ways with to get a solid WR2/3 for week 5 when Crowder and Jones are on their bye weeks? If so, should I wait until after this week to see if any of the RB's I picked up on the waivers are going to blow up and try to use them as trade fodder?

    Team 2: (1ppr & 1ppc for QB)

QB: Jameis Winston (yeah I went all in on Jameis)
    WR: Doug Baldwin
    WR: Amari Cooper
    WR: Corey Coleman
    RB: LeSean McCoy
    RB: Carlos Hyde
    TE: Tyler Eifert
    FLEX:
    K: Matt Prater
    DEF: Denver

    Bench:

    WR: Jamison Crowder vs. Rams
    WR: Jordan Matthews vs. Panthers
    WR: Paul Richardson vs. 49ers
    RB: Rob Kelley vs. Rams
    RB: Jonathan Stewart vs. Bills
    RB: Chris Thompson vs. Rams
    RB: Alvin Kamara vs. Patriots

Two questions about this team if anyone would be kind enough to give me some input:

    1. Who should I start in the FLEX Position?
    2. Are any of these running backs worth starting over Carlos Hyde?

  22. xbrokendownx

    Lets Go. Prestigious

    here is what I'd do:

    1) Fleener
    2) Jacquizz
    3) you can try packaging one of your WRs with a bench RB to upgrade at WR. Thats what I'd suggest

    1) probably Crowder given those options (assuming he is OK)
    2) nope

Thanks, those were pretty much my exact thoughts other than the last one. I'm just not sure how I feel about Carlos Hyde against the Seahawks, but he is the starter and pretty much the only offense the 49ers have at this point.

Edit: I forgot to put Jordan Matthews as one of my bench players as well on team 2. Would you still go with Crowder?

Is it worth holding 2 QBs in a 1QB, 12 team league?

  25. airik625

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

I don't think so. There are plenty of worthy starting QBs on the waiver wire already. I'm in the same boat and only holding one roster spot for Cousins.
