Totally forgot I had a dream that Tom did rejoin blink as a four piece. It came as a huge out-of-the-blue surprise by just dropping a song.

It was weird though. They dropped a video with 30 second clip and then dropped the full thing the next day. Weird part is that it was an acoustic mellow-sounding track.

 

Honestly, I'd be down for any and all of that right now.

 

I'd be okay with Feldy producing every record from here on out if Tom rejoined the band. The clashing of their two styles would be super interesting.

 

If Tom were to ever rejoin do you think Matt would stay in the band? That would be really interesting if so. I can imagine that if Matt left and Tom came back that they would probably ignore California completely in the setlist because Tom would be too petty to sing those songs

I've never heard of Amy Shark but the song on that link was really good. I'd love to hear her mixed with Tom just to break him out of his typical style. Also I just listened to her other song "Weekends" and she sang "Crystaloiiiised in moi moiiiind that toiiiny little room" so it's clearly meant to be.

Also did Tom ever get around to that big announcement he kept announcing he was going to announce? It wasn't just the acoustic EP was it?

 

Oh he would, but he'd probably add joke lyrics like he did with First Date.

 

Still zero desire to see Tom back

 

I'm all down for Tom joining for special occassion/anniversary shows. Other than that....he should just stay away unless he's willing to make Blink priority #1 and work together as a band with a producer they all agree with. Only then would I be interested in new Blink music with Tom.

I'll still take some BS AVA stuff though. Can't ever get enough music from the Blink guys.

 

I'm all for Tom fucking off and living a happy life with his family and never posting anything online and keeping to himself.

 

(i secretly hope tom comes back and gets his shit together)
